Language notes
SourcesThis is right by Allt nan Uamh and Creag nan Uamh (Craig-nan-uvagan 1774 Home’s Survey of Assynt, no 9). Over the burn is Beinn nan Cnaimseag, although Dwelly gives this as a pimple on the face of a bearberry.

There is an SNH booklet entitled Inchnadamph – Bone of Caves which gives Uamhan nan Cnàmhan as the Gaelic form. This says that many bones have been excavated here.
