“The people to whom Tobar Theàrlaig Mhòir, ‘Big Charlie’s well’, Tobar Muinntir Dhòmhnaill Ruaidh, ‘the well of Red Donald’s people’ or Tobar Iain Mhic Dhòmhnaill, ‘John MacDonald’s well’, each refer are unknown.”
