Kinghom, Kyngorn 1374 (RMS), etc., is still pronounced Fife locally, as I am informed, Kin-gom with stress on the second part. It means ;bog-head,' and adjacent to it is Grangemyre.: Watson, 1926, 379 [in discussion on element gronn.]
